White Reunion Day 2

Kids' Craft

The kids' crafts were both big hits and were organized by Vonae this year...

Talent Show

The kids singing "Book of Mormon Stories".

(Paige had no fears as you can see from the pictures, but Brianna had a touch of stagefright and wanted her Dad up there the whole time...)

Playing at the park

The kids playing at the park during some down-time...

White Reunion Day 1

Singing some action songs while we wait for everyone to arrive at the mission home for the unbirthday party...

Birthday Cake

Enjoying DH's birthday cake...

Happy Father's Day!

The kids were all very excited to give DH his Father's Day presents!! I think I've decided that the kids won't help anymore with the buying & wrapping of gifts. On one of the gifts, DH asked Blondie if she knew what it was - she said, "Yes, it's a Star Wars CD". So much for keeping secrets...

Blondie also really liked the big candy bar that they gave him...

Poor sleeping Luke!

Luke fell asleep on the couch the other day and Blondie thought it was fun putting game cards all over him and then laying down next to him and pretending she was asleep too...

Candyland

If it wasn't for the fact that these two girls are only ages 2 & 1, you might think that they were playing a real game of Candyland from these pictures! (It was left out by their older siblings...)

Aunt M visits...

My sister, M, was able to come and spend a few days with us last week.

Blondie & Aunt M enjoying a game of MarioKart.

Kitty & Aunt M at M&M's school program.

Putt putt golf

My sister M was also able to go putt putt golfing with us. DH & Blondie had to stay home sick though - our family has been passing around a stomach illness...

...Maybe I'll play better with 2 clubs...

I like this Dad

Today at dinner, DH was asking me if I thought I would remarry if he were to pass away first (apparently he and a buddy at work were discussing the topic). So we were talking a little bit about the subject and then Luke piped up and said something like, "No, don't do that. I like this Dad." :-)

I guess we'll keep Luke (and Dad) around a little longer...

DH and I both found it interesting that Luke was paying close enough attention to the conversation that he was able to pick up what we were talking about. Usually he seems to be in his own little world...

M&M finishes 2nd grade!!

Today was M&M's last day of 2nd grade. She now has 6 weeks off of school and then will start 3rd grade - and Luke will start kindergarten!

M&M's class performed a little program for the parents and then the teacher gave out some awards. M&M received several awards for reading and for completing a list of goals for her grade.

She was also one of three students that received a citizenship award for earning all excellent marks year-round on her report card in Work and Social Skills (things such as completes work as assigned, listens and follows directions, respects teachers and adults, follows classroom rules,...). The teacher also gave each of these students a small stuffed teddy bear.

More trouble...

Last night, Kitty figured out how to climb on our kitchen chairs. Then this morning I found her on top of the table!
