Kitty's first Principal's Pride

Kitty received her first Principal's Pride award last Thursday for her excellent work on her Copy Cat assignment. She copied the pictures on the left of the paper and drew them herself freehand on the right side of the paper. I think she did a really great job on the drawing. After she came home with her dad after receiving the award, DH mentioned that she might be our little artist in the family. Then the rest of the day and the next she was coloring whenever she got the chance and telling people that she was the little artist in the family. Kitty also came home from that experience wondering where her treat was - apparently the teacher told her that she would be getting a treat with her award. The "treat" is a couple of coupons for free meals at some local restaurants - not quite what she was hoping for...
