For Saturday's activities we decided to start out at the beach in the late morning, then head back to the house for lunch. It was pretty chilly and overcast once again. The kids wore their swimsuits this time and grandma brought buckets, shovels and kites for the kids to play with.
And the cousin wasn't too happy about it!
Once the kids had had enough of the beach we headed back to the house for lunch. And as luck would have it, while we were walking back to the house the sun came out and it started warming up. So after lunch DH and his brother took a bunch of the kids back to the beach to play some more and I stayed back with Baby K who was napping. Because DH had a lot of kids to look after he didn't take the camera with him so I don't have any pictures of the sunny beach. :) Once they got back we had dinner, a short family talent show and then cake and ice cream. We started another fire in the fireplace that night to try and dry things out once again - and yes the basement was still pretty wet at this point.
