The school did two dress rehearsals for the musical. The A cast was one night and the B cast the following night. Kitty was Mrs. Whiskers in the B cast and then she was a city dweller in the A cast. They had the two casts for the main parts and then the main parts played city dwellers for the other cast. It was really a logistical nightmare how they did things and if I had known how much work it was going to entail and how many kids were going to be participating, we probably would have passed on the whole experience. Kitty did enjoy herself for the most part but it definitely made those few weeks of our life very, very, very busy - with rehearsals after school almost every day for several hours.
