I had the cookie dough all ready to make some Valentine Day cookies but for one reason or another we didn't get around to it until the day after. Better late than never though - and this is one of my favorite sugar cookie recipes. Plus the kids enjoy decorating them. My parents were stopping by our house to drop off a few things for us right when we were decorating them so they helped us out as well.

| MJ just wanted to eat the frosting. I gave her a decorated cookie and she just licked the frosting off and then asked for more. |
