Here in the Salt Lake Valley, Young Women that have completed their 7th and 8th grade school years are able to attend a special girl's camp run by the church called Oakcrest. Girls from about 8-10 stakes attend each week and they are grouped in cabins with girls from throughout the valley. This was M&M's first year attending and she had a blast. I dropped her off at the departure point on Monday morning and then another mom from our ward brought her home in the early afternoon on Friday. She said that it rained several times while at camp - a couple of nights they were woken up because it was raining so hard. She was able to do a zip line, do some hiking, do a few crafts and do lots of fun activities with her cabin. I know that she is already looking forward to attending next year!
