Blondie received the Principal's Pride award for her straw art painting. It was one of the first groups for the year and for some reason I had the time 8:30 in my head as the starting time. So when we got there around 8:25 I thought we were doing good. Then we walked into the school and saw the secretary already walking out of the library where they hold the ceremony. She said that we had just missed the ceremony, but the principal was still in the library if we wanted to get Blondie's picture with her and the award. I commented saying that I thought it started at 8:30 and she said, no, 8:20... Apparently it was a really small group so it was over in just a few minutes. I felt really bad!
